Colossians 2:9-10
Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
In every breath that Jesus takes, the heart of the Father is revealed. When we see Him—our Savior—living in body, we see the fullness of God made touchable and accessible. That fullness is not a distant idea but a living reality that calls us to grow, to be more like Him, and to embrace the love that only He can give. In this moment of His presence, we are invited to be transformed, to move from the half‑shadows of our old selves into the bright, complete light that He offers.
When we remember that He is head over every power and authority, our hearts are soothed. All the forces that might pull us away from His love—fear, doubt, pride—are under His sovereign care. This knowledge encourages us to trust fully, to lay aside our own plans, and to surrender to the one who governs all. In that surrender, we find the true freedom of living as His children, fully loved and completely guided by the One who knows every step of our journey.
My Prayer…
Father, thank You that through Your Son I am now brought into the fullness of life. Help me to live each day in the light of His love, to surrender every worry and every desire to the One who holds all authority. May I grow deeper in my relationship with Christ, finding strength, hope, and peace in His boundless grace. In His name, Amen.
